Licensed or eligible for licensure within one year to practice in the State of Indiana. Three plus years of psychological experience. Experience in treating eating disorders is preferred. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to communicate with peers, clients, families other facilities and/or vendors Performs duties that require the employee to sit or remain stationary for extended periods of time. Job performance will require the ability to move throughout the building and may require walking around facility grounds. While performing duties may be required to sit stationary for long periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to talk or hear, sit, stand, walk, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, taste or smell Ability to move up to 50 pounds. Selah House is a premier residential eating disorder treatment facility outside of Indianapolis, Indiana.

We are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Clinical Director.

Position Summary

The Clinical Director is responsible for the clinical and dietary functions of Selah House.

Position Summary

The Clinical Director will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of the facility.  Manages the clinical staff and ensures the optimal care of clients seeking longer-term behavioral health services provided by Selah House Treatment Center for Eating Disorders (SH).

Relationships and Contacts

Within the organization:  Maintains frequent and close working relationships with clients, President/CEO, National Director of Admissions, Regional Director of Clinical Partnerships, Nursing, Milieu Director, RCS Staff, facility leadership, peers and vendors. 

Outside the organization:  May initiate and maintain working relationships with clinical providers, referral partners and vendors as needed and directed.

Position Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities

  1. Provide compassionate and professional guidance to clients, and referring professionals seeking longer-term behavioral health services.
  2. Supervises and manages other licensed clinicians.
  3. Ensure programming is defined, coordinated, staffed and delivered in a manner that provides high quality care for SH clients.
  4. Hire, coach and develop clinical staff.
  5. Oversee weekly treatment team meetings to coordinate care, communicate client needs and progress, and ensure consistent and quality care.
  6. Provide ongoing training to all staff members to advance treatment skills, cultural sensitivity and compliance with licensure and accreditation standards.
  7. Provide oversight of utilization review process with personal involvement in difficult cases.
  8. Maintain client caseload and act as primary therapist for assigned clients, to include individual and family therapy.
  9. Responsible for managing and maintaining CARF accreditation and providing oversight to other staff to maintain their compliance
  10. Represents SH at local, regional and national eating disorder-oriented events.
  11. Works closely with business office and direct care support staff.
  12. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications related to Selah House Mission and population.

Additional Responsibilities

  1. Functions within the guidelines of the facility’s Code of Ethics and in accordance with corporate compliance.
  2. Assists in promoting and ensuring that the mission, goals and objectives of SH are understood and actively supported by the employees. 
  3. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

Education and Experience:
