Description

Responsibilities:
- Help Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with menu planning for Partial Hospitalization Program meals/snacks
- Coordinate with staff regarding weekly meal numbers to ensure correct amount of food is ordered
- Order weekly groceries for all Opal prepared client meals and snacks
- Receive, organize, and label weekly grocery orders
- Help maintain kitchen organization and cleanliness
- Collaborate with other members of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary staff (therapists, dietitians, milieu therapists, etc.)
- Regular supervision meetings with Food Service Specialist Dietitian
Requirements:
- Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition or Clinical Dietetics OR
Associate of Arts Degree in Dietetic Technology and required Registration with Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Basic computer skills including navigating on-line grocery ordering systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Live, behave and talk in a way that reflects a non-diet, non-weight biased relationship with food and body
- Exhibit a high degree of confidentiality and personal boundary setting
- Experience in the mental health and/or eating disorder field desired
- State of Washington Food and Beverage Service Worker’s Permit may be required upon hire
Hours:
Part time. 15 hours total. Mondays and Fridays in person for about 6 hours daily. Rest of hours can be done virtually on other days of the week.
