We are expanding! The Center for Eating Disorders (CED) is the premier eating disorder treatment program in Maryland, serving the community for over 30 years. We are growing fast and hiring for multiple positions. We are looking for licensed registered nurses to join our multidisciplinary team in providing treatment in a warm and supportive outpatient environment. These are new roles within our growing program.
The ideal candidate will be highly skilled and excited to make an immediate impact in our expanding program. New CED nurses will be joining a team of top eating disorder experts committed to providing proven treatments in creative ways. Joining the team during this period of growth will provide great opportunities for making real contributions to program development and ensure you will be working directly with CED leadership. Responsibilities: Provide nursing care as part of patients’ personalized treatment plan, establish therapeutic relationships with patients, participate as an active member of the program milieu, develop the nursing care plan, conduct daily assessments, administering medication.
Job Requirements: Graduate of accredited school of nursing (Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred), active Registered Nurse license in state of Maryland, basic life support certification for healthcare providers from AHA, computer literacy, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong personal boundaries, one year of nursing experience in behavior health, eating disorder knowledge preferred.
